On Tattoos is an independent collection of original tattoo designs, made to help you find and refine the idea for your next piece. Every design here is created by us. We start from an idea (an animal, a zodiac sign, a symbol or a line of lettering) and develop it step by step with the help of AI image tools, adjusting the composition, line work and details until it works as a tattoo. We then show each design on different body placements, such as the arm, back or leg, so you can see how it would actually look on skin before you decide. Each design comes with a short write-up about its meaning and symbolism, the style it is drawn in, and where it tends to work best on the body. Designs are organized into categories, and you can search them by theme, style or placement. You are welcome to use any design as inspiration and to show it to your tattoo artist. A tattoo is permanent, so we always recommend working with a licensed, professional artist who can adapt the design to your body and skin. New designs are added regularly.
