First Sign of the Zodiac and Pioneer: The astrological calendar begins on March 21 with the spring equinox. Standing at the first place on the zodiac wheel, Aries represents natural leadership, initiating power, and courage. First Representative of the Fire Element: As the first sign of the fire group, Aries inherently carries high energy, passion, and instinctual intensity. This is the root cause of their quick decisions and impatient nature. Ruled by Mars: Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of war, struggle, and action. This influence fuels their competitive nature, resilience against challenges, and innate warrior spirit. Represents the Head and Face in the Body: In medical astrology, each sign governs a specific area of the body; Aries governs the head, face, and brain. Consequently, individuals with strong Aries placements are often prone to headaches or carry subtle scars on their face/head. Holds Cardinal Quality: In astrology, signs that initiate seasons are classified as "Cardinal." Marking the arrival of spring, Aries possesses an unparalleled drive to launch projects and bring ideas to life, never hesitating to start from scratch.
