- Represents the Heart of the Galaxy: The supermassive black hole at the very center of the Milky Way (Sagittarius A*) is located in the direction of the Sagittarius constellation in the night sky. When you look toward Sagittarius, you are literally looking at the core of our galaxy. - Origin of the Centaur Symbol: In mythology, Sagittarius is associated with Chiron, a wise and immortal centaur unlike his wild counterparts. Chiron was a master of medicine, philosophy, archery, and music; which is why Sagittarius represents deep wisdom, philosophy, and inner healing alongside freedom and adventure. - The Jupiter Effect and "Great Luck": The ruling planet of Sagittarius is Jupiter, the largest planet in the Solar System. Known in traditional astrology as the "Greater Benefic" (Great Luck), Jupiter gives Sagittarians an innate sense of optimism, a desire for expansion, and a natural ability to attract unexpected opportunities.
